Vehicle Fires

Vehicle fires often result from an inherent defect in a single component, or a faulty repair. In other cases, a vehicle is destroyed by fire due to an intentional act. A typical investigation will include a thorough examination of the subject vehicle and a review of the vehicle recall and service history. In addition, witness statements may provide corroborative evidence as to where the fire originated and how it progressed. When it can be determined that the fire was related to a vehicle defect or faulty repair, liability can be established against the manufacturer or repair shop.
